Pumpkin Galeux d'Eysines are a beautiful French Heirloom, some call a Peanut Pumpkin. The Pink/Orange skin resembles peanut looking warts caused by sugar swelling in the fruits skin. The somewhat flat fruits resemble a wheel of cheese, and average size can be 7 to 10 kg / 10 to 15 lbs a pumpkin.
Great for storage as they can store for up to 6 months. Smooth pulp for pies has a delicious flavour and very high sugar content at maturity. Great for pies too!
The flesh is bright orange, and very easy to extract for your pumpkin recipes.
