Since the early 1800s, Amish Paste Heirloom Tomato has been a favorite in Amish kitchens where family recipes for canning and salsa were developed with this variety. Large for a sauce tomato, Amish Paste's slightly irregular plum to strawberry-shaped fruits average 8-12 oz. of meaty goodness, making them ideal for all your favorite recipes.

Amish Paste Heirloom Tomatoes are powerful producers, but don't start too early. Plants should not display legginess, or stunting from being root-bound or flowering when transplanted at about 3 in (7.5 cm) tall. Transplanting slices your growth time in half and gives you 2–4 ft (1–1.2 m) high plants loaded with fruit instead of big stalks that take forever to set fruit. Planted in mid-May, Amish Paste Heirloom Tomatoes will produce during the hottest summer months and into fall without fail!

20 plus non treated seeds per packet. Start 5-6 weeks before your last frost to help prevent leggy overgrown plants.
