Spice up your garden with a touch of artistic flair! Our Jalapeno Monet seeds promise not just a burst of heat, but a masterpiece of flavor that will transform your culinary creations into works of art. Named after the renowned artist Claude Monet, these jalapeños bring a palette of colors and a symphony of tastes to your garden and kitchen.

Features:

  • Heat Level: Medium to Hot
  • Flavor Profile: A harmonious blend of spicy and fruity notes with a hint of sweetness.
  • Fruit Size: Petite, 2-3 inches in length.
  • Color Spectrum: Vibrant green turning to shades of red and orange as they ripen, resembling an edible masterpiece.
  • Each packet has 15 treated seeds, treated to ensure germination is successful.

Growing Instructions:

  1. Soil: Plant in well-drained, fertile soil enriched with organic matter.
  2. Sunlight: Full sunlight for at least 6-8 hours a day.
  3. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged.
  4. Germination: Maintaining a bottom heat ranging from 80–90°F (27–32°C) is crucial for the germination of peppers. Seeds will sprout within 7–8 days under these conditions. In cooler temperatures, germination becomes slower and less consistent, resulting in a reduced percentage of seeds successfully sprouting.
  5. Temperature: Thrives in warm climates; ensure temperatures are above 70°F (21°C).
  6. Spacing: Plant seeds 18-24 inches apart to allow for proper growth.

Tips for Success:

  • Support: Provide stakes or cages for support as the plants may become top-heavy with fruit.
  • Pruning: Pinch back the growing tips to encourage bushier growth. Pruning Caution: In Cooler climates like Canada where we have shorter growing seasons for these heat loving plants, pinching is SKIPPED because of the short growing season. If you extend your season with a greenhouse then you may want to consider pinching because you have given yourself a longer growing season.
  • Harvesting: Pick peppers when they reach the desired color and size.

Culinary Inspirations:

  • Fresh Salsas: Add a burst of color and heat to your favorite salsas.
  • Stuffed Delights: Fill these jalapeños with cream cheese or other fillings for a delightful appetizer.
  • Pickled Perfection: Create homemade pickled jalapeños for a tangy and spicy condiment.

With Jalapeño Monet seeds, your garden becomes a canvas, and your dishes a masterpiece. Cultivate a sensory masterpiece that is both visually stunning and palate-pleasing. Get ready to spice up your culinary artistry!
