🫛 Alaska Shelling Pea
An heirloom shelling pea variety dating back to the 1880, known as 'Earliest of All.' This semi-dwarf, heavy-yielding variety is highly reliable, produces round, pale green pods (5 to 8 peas per pod), and grows well in cool soil, making it excellent for early spring and fall planting.
Don't forget to plant more than one seed!
"One for the mouse,Â
One for the crow,
One to rot,Â
And one to grow."
Days to Mature
55 Days (Very Early) Great for cold and cool soil, plant early and harvest before day 80.
Pkt Size is 60+/- seeds, 20 grams.
Height and Spread Details
Height: 24 - 36 inches (60 - 90 cm)
Spread: Approximately 12 - 20 inches (30 - 50 cm)
